Non-refundable deposit will hold your baby until he/she is weaned and ready to go home. If you back out you don't get your refund back.

Non smoking homes only. It doen't matter if you smoke outside. That is still considered a smoking home because toxins linger on clothes and hair.

 

I do not ship so you have to be within driving distance.

I do not meet. You have to come here so we can meet you.

 

It's very important that you pick up your baby bird in a timely fashion and with a reasonable amount of time. Generally within ten days of when i give the green light to take your baby home and with an appointment. I'm not a pet shop and my time does fill up quickly. Appointments must be made no less than the morning before the day of pick up.

 

If you set a time or two to pick up and don't show, you might forfeit the rights to the baby you intend to purchase and the deposit.

 

You will sign a contract agreeing to bring the baby back to me if you can no longer keep him or her.

We do not refund money with returns.

 

Mystic Creek babies come with hatch certificate and a care and information packet along with our well bird guarantee. This guarantees that when the baby leaves Mystic Creek Aviary he or she is in good health and fully weaned. If I suspect a problem the baby stays with me a little longer.

Your deposit is refunded if you change your mind for this reason.

 

Guarantee:

I do not breed unhealthy parent birds and if I have any concern at all about a baby, he or she is not sold.

Babies leave my home fully weaned and with no perceptible health issues.

No respiratory problem, noticeable  neurological issues, deformations, digestive issues, broken bones, overgrowths, growths, lumps or tumors, or other perceptible abnormalities.

 

Since environmental factors are no longer in my control once the babies leave my home, this guarantee is very specific. If you take your baby to a board certified and accredited avian vet within 7 days (not just a general vet) and an issue is found, the live bird must be returned to me within 24 hours of that vet visit along with the veteranarian paperwork stating issue for a full refund.

You must bring the baby to me.

 

If the Parrotlet dies within 48 hours of purchase, a necropsy must be done for a full refund to ensure that nothing environmental caused his or her death.

I do not reimburse vet bills.

 

NOTE: There are many factors that change once the baby leaves Mystic Creek Aviary and enters your home and family that we can not control.

There is no guarantee that your baby will talk or bond with you, and no guarantee on behavior or other such factors.
